Alexa is a speech-language pathologist originally from West Hartford, CT. She earned her undergraduate degree in Early Years and Childhood Studies from University College Cork in Cork, Ireland. She then earned her Masters of Science in Communication Sciences & Disorders at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont. Alexa has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in many settings including early intervention, schools, and private practice. Within these settings, Alexa gained experience conducting evaluations and providing treatment to those with speech/language disorders and delays, fluency disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, feeding, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders.
Alexa has a passion for providing family-centered, neurodiversity-affirming speech and language services for children and adults. She believes that everyone deserves the right to communication and is passionate about forming meaningful connections with her clients and their families. It is always Alexa's goal to provide intentional, individualized, and collaborative speech and language services. ​

Alexa holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is certified to evaluate and treat speech, language, and feeding disorders in the state of Connecticut and Maine. Alexa is also trained in the Natural Language Acquisition framework. She has a passion for working with gestalt language processors, children who are late talkers, and children with speech sound and fluency disorders.
When Alexa is not working with her clients, you can find her spending time outside, playing with her dog, Alfie, or in the kitchen trying new recipes!
